Hey, shooting landscapes , what would be the sharpest Fstop for the 24-105 and also for the 24-70 2.8. For the 24-70; I shoot landscapes at F/5.6-F/8 unless there is too much sunlight that shutter speed creates its own diffraction pattern.
With the 24-105's tighter FOV, the bokeh balls look the same size at 70mm as the 28-70's, but larger at 105mm. So, download or have a look at the comparisons and let me know what ya think: RF 24-105 f/2.8 vs. 28-70 f/2
My RF 24-105 f4 is excellent. No issues. I remember in years past there would often be posts about copy variation with lenses. But today I don't hear about it much. Maybe lens manufacturing has better quality control today. In recent years I have bought the EF 100-400, RF 24-105 f4, RF 100-500, RF 35 f1.4, and they all were excellent. kI2a.
