I had two things done to my transmission one month ago. I just got a Transfer Case Campaign SSC# 2007100004 recall campaign. With the introduction of the M272 engine the oil level sensor was replaced by an oil level switch (S43). You have to remove the bottom pan to reach it. To do that, ideally you need the car raised up on a lift. Also the pan sealant use and path needs special attention. Here are the WIS instructions, if you are prepared for DIY.
